This week Thursday was indeed special, although it's taken me till Saturday to post. I've been home for two weeks, and Thursday was the first time I've stirred out, camera in hand, ready to delight in my own turf, and eager to begin a monster blogging project: visiting the 83 beaches of the Eurobodalla shire. To mark the occasion, I begin with something small – an assemblage of leaves on the sandy track behind the dunes of Jemison's Beach, in Eurobodalla NP, and virtually on my doorstep.

I’ve also got to set up a new blog. morselsandscraps is nearly full, and I want to revamp a bit. At least now I have the sense that I can find the new in the familiar: it’s been missing since I got back.

That’s not a beaches post. Come on. I can do better than that!

This is an exciting project. I will be happy to see 82 of them. Meg, I am really sorry I did not see this post before and really peeved with WordPress. When I follow people I don’t get notifications or pingbacks. I will just visit on my own from now on. The redish leaf in the photo cought some beautiful reflections. Thank you for this lovely pic 🙂

Thank you for seeking me out through the wilderness of cyberspace. And for noticing the reddish leaf. I’m busy constructing a new blog – the first Beaches post will launch it, when I finally master stuff that is totally simple – once mastered.

You are constructing a new blog? Will you keep this one?

It’ll be a continuation. I’ve filled up the space on the last one, and I’m too lousy to pay. Also, I’ve learnt a bit about blogging in three years, so I’ll shape it a bit differently.
