The obsession for rock pools lures me out onto the rocks at the southern end of Potato Point beach. Today, rock pools took second place to rock faces, an astounding variety of colours, patterns and rock type. The camera was eager and the sky obliged by turning grey and reducing brightness and glare, so the rock faces could flaunt their beauty to best effect. The photographic challenge was easy to meet – the challenge of finding words to describe what I saw was to impossible. For now, I'll let the photos do the describing, and save the search for words for another day.
