One of my photographic passions is the patterns in the rock faces close to home – at Jemisons Beach, Potato Point Beach and occasionally at Mystery Bay, Handkerchief Beach, Rosedale and Brou Beach. It’s a pastime that causes raised eyebrows. A passer-by was convinced there must be fossils. Why else would an aging woman be crouching, kneeling, stretching, balancing, even lying, with her camera a few centimetres from a rock face?
Here are some of the why elses!
